In Celebration of

Isabel Peat

April 20, 1925 -  July 1, 2021

Isabel (Tony) Peat

With great sadness we announce the death of Isabel Peat (nee Coon) in her 97th year, on July 1, 2021.
She was predeceased by her husband David McGregor Peat.
She is survived by her sister Eleanor Stryland and was a dear mother to Owen (Marian), Victoria Battrick (Al) and Morgan (Elizabeth); and grandmother to Joe Battrick, Jennifer, David, Johnathon and Bronwyn.
A life of rich experiences:
Blythwood P.S., Havergal College ’44, a WW2 Red Cross volunteer ambulance driver in Toronto, Interior Designer with her architect father (Burwell), Mohawk College Interior Design degree, volunteer of the Hamilton Art Gallery (Art rental and tours coordinator), extensive traveler and a lifetime of Muskoka summers becoming the master of the Hermitage kitchen with her extended and blended family.
She will be missed as a beloved family matriarch.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
