Dana & Viktoras Skukauskas (My RIP mom Ona's close lifelong friend & fellow Sea Scout)

Entered December 11, 2024 from Toronto

Deepest sympathy to Mike Rope, Lori Rope Savickas and her 2 sons and all your beloved relatives & closest friends at this time of grief. The photos you have posted are wonderful. So sorry for your loss. Your mom was a beautiful, gentle and sweet spirit. I have many memories going back decades as a daughter of 2 Lithuanian immigrant parents (one from BC & the other from Europe). Love to see the old B&W photo albums of my RIP mom Ona Skukauskas when she & close pal Irena were Lithuanian female sea scouts. They set up tents up on my parent's summer cottage in Wasaga Beach where Irena's former husband RIP Mr Rope had built a cottage for Ona & Viktoras Skukauskas. Many happy memories of wonderful campfires of singing Lithuanian songs & dancing the twist during the groovy 60s and 70s. May Irena rest in peace now as she haas been welcomed into Heaven by sweet angels and former family/friends who have passed away in previous years.
