Passed away peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of 65 years to Horst. Loving mother to daughter Karin (Frank). Cherished Oma to Katie (Andrew), Matthew (Meghan) and Luke (Amy), and Great Oma to Nicolas, Lauren, Ella, William, Jake, and Callahan.
Irene will be remembered for all of her dedicated work in her beloved church, her strength of character and her infectious giggles. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
A private funeral will be held. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
