Irena Palinska

May 29, 1957 - February 21, 2024

It is with broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Irena on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, age 66 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves behind her husband Nikolai, daughter Justine (Joey) and grandson John.

Loving Sister of Lidia, Andrij (Luba) & Mira. Irena will be deeply missed by her nephews Igor and Michal, and niece Ruslana (Mitchell).

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. in Etobicoke (between Kipling & Islington) on Sunday 4-8 p.m. Panakhyda 7 p.m. Funeral Rite will be held at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection of the Mother of God, 30 Leeds St., Toronto on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 10 a.m.

Donations may be made to St. Joseph's Health Centre.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful, mother, wife, sister and grandmother. Irena lived with such a fighting spirit that was admirable and contagious. My deepest condolences to all of her loved ones.
