It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we say goodbye to Irena Chomej who is now at peace after courageously battling cancer. Irena passed away on September 11th, 2021 at the age of 63. Irena was a loving and devoted wife to Jan Chomej for 39 years, and a supporting and caring mother to Ivona and Marta (Ryan).

She is predeceased by her parents Jan and Maria Dygin and leaves behind her loving sister Daria Malysz (Miroslaw) and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Irena was a very devout Catholic and her unwavering faith helped her through life's challenges. Her kind spirit and compassionate heart left a lifelong mark on everyone she met. She was very selfless, nurturing, and always there for anyone who needed her.

She strongly believed in the importance of tradition, family, and faith.

We were blessed to have her as a part of our lives, she will be greatly missed by all, and may she rest in the loving arms of God.
