It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ihor (Moose) at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Monika. Much loved father of Cindy (Mark Leighton), and Sofia. In Moose’s memory, donations may be made to Ryerson Rams Women’s Basketball.

What a sad loss. Moose was the towering head of the production department when I started at OSSTF-FEESO and handled expertly the massive mailings we used to send out. He was a pretty good slow pitch player on the historic OSSTF-FEESO team that took on Chris Ward, Min of Ed and his Liberal team. Heroic days.
We will all miss the mighty presence of Moose.

Moose was an extremely proud father who would shine any time Cindy or Sofia were mentioned; he was also a very loving husband who would do anything for Monika. For those of us who had the great pleasure of working with Moose for so many years and lucky enough to call him a friend, he was a wonderful, caring person - both inside and out.

God bless you, Moose, it's time for the angels to take care of you now.
