In Celebration of

Ida Pausche-Pejovich

March 26, 1928 -  April 25, 2024

Peacefully, with family at her bedside, at the young age of 96 Ida Pausche-Pejovich passed away at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Ida leaves behind her husband Branko, daughters Klara, Annie (Bob) and Olga (Mario), grandchildren Dustin, Paul (Nicole), Chris (Niamh) and Amy (Fadi) and great grandchildren Taylor, Nabi, Ellie and Francis.

Ida‘s life was a beautiful combination of difficult challenges and joy, met with smiles, laughter, poetry, friendships, celebration of cultures and a deep admiration of nature’s beauty and magnificence. She embraced her adopted country with vigour and commitment and was always a proud Canadian.

A funeral service will be held at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel 2357 Bloor St W. in Toronto Wednesday, May 1 with a brief period of visitation at 10:00a.m. followed by a service at 11:00a.m. and reception immediately after the service. Hats and broaches are encouraged for anyone in attendance.

A private family interment will follow.

Ida’s family wishes to thank Drs. Jakubovicz, Feinberg and Toupin as well as the kind and caring PSWs who have cared for Ida over the past few years and last but not least the wonderful staff of Dorothy Ley Hospice.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Dorothy Ley Hospice would be most welcome.
