Ida Milano, at age 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024. Born on September 20th, 1958, to Francesco (2015) and Maria Carelli (2020), Ida was a beacon of love and light. She is survived by her brother, Joseph (Laura) Carelli, and sister, Elvira Pincente.

In 1981, Ida married Sam Milano, beginning a love story that was richer and more profound than most people experience in a hundred years. Together, they were blessed with two daughters, Natasha (Myles McGregor) and Alyssa, who inherited Ida's best qualities. Ida and Alyssa shared a love for cooking and old movies, while Natasha inherited her mother's sense of humor and lighthearted nature. Though a mother to two, Ida's nurturing spirit touched the lives of many friends and relatives.

Ida will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, love for food, and fierce dedication to her family. Before welcoming their daughters, Ida and Sam traveled the world, experiencing different cultures and traditions. Her adventures included teaching aerobics to a Saudi princess, dining on the Orient Express, and touring the Matterhorn. Yet, Ida always said her greatest adventure began after her children were born.

As Ida often reminded us, “Don’t make life so complicated. It’s nothing short of spectacular!”

Visitation will take place at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk-Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga, on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 5-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel o Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11 AM.

Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
