In Celebration of

Ian Raymond Cartwright

March 22, 1957 -  August 4, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Ian Raymond Cartwright, on August 4, 2024, at the age of 67.

He will be lovingly remembered by: his wife Michelle; children Danielle (Derek) and Ryan; brother Adrian (Sharon); brother-in-law Michael (Marnie); and his nephews Michael James and Carson; as well as many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by: his Father Raymond and mother Jean; and father-in-law Michael and Mother-in-law Olga.

Ian was born in Wakefield, England and came to Canada when he was 2. He began his career with Dominion/A&P/Metro, which lasted 36 years. Ian enjoyed spending time with his children, watching all their sporting and school activities. He especially loved going to both Danielle and Ryan's hockey games. When Ian married Michelle he inherited a large family and loved spending time with his Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Ian's heaven on earth was Indian Shores, Florida where he would relax, go fishing, make friends, and spend time with his family. He loved to watch the sunsets: that was his favorite part of the day.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) Mississauga, on Wednesday from 3 - 5 pm & 7 - 9 pm. Prayers will be held at 8 pm.
