April 9, 1934 - May 18, 2022

Peacefully, at home, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Teresa for 62 years. Loving father of Jacqueline, Cheryl and Julie. Adored grandpa to Tyrice, Gigi, Zoë and Maxwell. Father-in-law to Daniel Godon.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga (at Erin Mills Pkwy.), on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Erindale, on Thursday May 26 at 2 p.m. Please note that masks are required at the church.

Interment St. John’s Dixie Cemetery.

Every time I saw my Uncle Aldric he taught me something about his tiny Caribbean island home of Nevis. Somehow he was able to strike the perfect balance between being an equally proud Canadian and Nevisian. Like all of the children of Arnold and Beryl, Uncle "Hughy" was a hard worker, who was so proud that he and Aunt Merle could make a comfortable home where his children felt 100% supported and inspired to pursue their goals. When the time came, he did the same for his grandchildren.
Aunt Merle, Jacky, Cheryl, Julie, Tyrice, Gigi, Zoe and Max, we are so deeply saddened for you in your loss. May you be comforted knowing that others care and may his loving spirit remain in your heart forever. My dear Uncle is at peace now, and has earned a well deserved rest. xo
