In Celebration of

Hubert Stephan

January 4, 1927 -  May 4, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father at the age of 97. He passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Anne (2018) and his daughter, Ingrid (1956). Much loved father of Michael (Susan), Thomas (Janna), Angie (Jamie), Wendy (Jason), Eric (Anna), Peter (Isobel), John and Kathy (Edun). Treasured Opa and Opa-pa to 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

We have lost a kind, gentle and caring man. Hubert was well respected throughout his life in his career, community and most of all his family.

Hubert will forever be remembered for his unwavering love, empathy and countless memories shared with those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N. of the QEW) on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10-11 AM. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 11 AM with reception to follow.

Live-streaming through Turner & Porter’s website will be available for those who cannot attend.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Pl ease accept our sincere condolences. A wonderful person has left us and I think of him frequently. We were so fortunate to have had such a perfect next door neighbour for 23 years. Hubert was always so pleasant, concerned and helpful. He had a beautiful calm demeanour and a true warmth.
