In Celebration of

Hollis Hugh Fitzroy Trotman

March 23, 1940 -  December 29, 2024

Born in Trinidad and Tobago to Gertrude and Hugh Trotman on March 23, 1940, passed away on December 29, 2024, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, surrounded by the music he loved and the ones who loved him. He immigrated to Canada in 1967 and dedicated 40 years of his life to working as a welder.

Hollis is survived by his daughters Sandra (and grandson Eliot), Tamara (and granddaughter Maia and grandson Evan), Natalie (and granddaughter Halle and grandson Hazen), and son Sean (and granddaughters Aiyana and Elise). A devoted partner to Vickie, Hollis had a passion for music and family gatherings.

He was a wonderful father, brother, and friend. His genuine laughter and glowing smile will be greatly missed.

We were so saddened to hear of Hollis' passing. If Vickie was visiting Hollis, he would often say hello to me, my siblings and mother when we were on our Sunday messenger call.
He was always so polite and a gentleman.
We are very sorry for your loss.
