In Celebration of

Henry Migas

February 27, 1935 -  March 1, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected and peaceful passing of Henry Migas, on March 1, 2023, at the age of 88. Henry will be sorely missed by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Irene, loving children Bradley (Diana) and Blair (Nella). Dziadzi cherished his grandchildren: Luke, Erica, Noah and Julia. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers Richard and George (Diane), as well as his extended family, beloved nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by: his loving parents Kazimierz and Antonina and devoted sisters Danuta (Sam), Irene (Stan) and sister-in-law Carol.
Henry followed in his father's footsteps, he was a carpenter and a true craftsman. He had an infectious smile and kind heart. He loved his family, friends, apple pie, stamp collecting, fishing, spending time at the cottage, and had a passion for gardening. He showed his love in so many ways: through joke telling, helping his family with renovations, building family heirlooms and furniture, and sharing his knowledge and skills. We are blessed to have had so many great memories and we will keep him alive in our hearts.
Friends may call at the Turner Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of Jane St.), on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 11am. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Online condolences and donations may be made using this website.
