In Celebration of

Henry Lapinski

March 20, 1961 -  May 10, 2024

Our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to our beloved father, Henry Lapinski, who peacefully departed from this world in the comfort of his cherished home, on May 10, 2024, at the age of 63. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever remain etched in our hearts.

Born in Toronto on March 20, 1961, Henry led a life filled with simple joys and unwavering dedication. For over 25 years, he served as a proud TTC operator, touching the lives of countless individuals with his kindness and reliability.

Henry was a man of profound happiness, unwavering loyalty, and genuine simplicity. His gentle spirit endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He found his greatest joy in the company of his loving wife, Danuta; and his children Ashley Skrinjar (Christopher) and Christopher (Natalya).

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Henry’s love knew no bounds. His grandchildren, William, Violet and James, held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them. As Dziadzia, he delighted in their laughter and shared countless conversations that illuminated his life with boundless joy.

Henry possessed a remarkable gift for connecting with others, effortlessly striking up conversations with strangers and friends alike. His passions were as simple as they were profound: cheering on the Maple Leafs, savoring a delicious burger and fries, sharing hearty laughter over good jokes, and reveling in the serenity of camping under the open sky.

Together, we shared countless treasured memories that will forever remain a testament to Henry’s enduring legacy of love and laughter. Though he may have left this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In honoring Henry’s memory, let us celebrate the warmth of his love, the depth of his compassion, and the richness of his life’s journey. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we carry forward his legacy with love and gratitude in our hearts.

Rest in peace, dearest Henry. You will be deeply missed, but your light will shine on in our memories forevermore.
