In Celebration of

Helmtrud Krampert

November 27, 1927 -  April 22, 2020

It is with deep sorrow and with profound joy we announce the passing of Helmtrud (Helma) Krampert. She died peacefully on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 and is now with her Risen Lord. Beloved daughter of the late Heinrich and Ludwina Borst of Steinach, Germany. Cherished and esteemed wife of Hubert Krampert. They were married for 68 years. Proud mother of Barbara-Anne, Stephen (Marcelle), Patricia, and Thomas (Joni). Loving sister to Tilly, Melitta and predeceased Anton. Beloved Oma to Braeden, Daniel, Katheirne (Brython), Matthew, Michaela, Michael and Erich. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

The Krampert family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospital staff of the Trillium Health Partners (4B medicine & 2B surgical) for the special care and support shown to Helmtrud during these last 3 months.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Alzheimer Society of Peel, St. Vincent de Paul, Rosalie Hall or Covenant House. The latter organizations, Helmtrud supported for many years.

I will miss that lovely smile I was fortunate enough to see and receive for so many years at St. Dominic's Church. And although it was heartbreaking to see Mrs. Krampert's health deteriorate, it was inspiring to see how she valiantly endeavoured to carry on.

Mr. Krampert, Barbara-Anne and family, I share with you an excerpt from John O'Donohue's poem, On the Death of the Beloved:

"....until we see your beautiful face again
In that land where there is no more separation,
Where all tears will be wiped from our mind,
And where we will never lose you again."

With love,
Christine

Dear Mr. Krampert, Barbara-Anne and Family,
Our sincere condolences are with you with the passing of your wife, mother and Oma. We enjoyed our friendly chats with Helma and will remember her passion for working in the garden. When her housework was done, she even made sure the street was swept clean. Love always, Mike & Mary & family.
