On December 8, 2024 at Runnymede Health Centre, Mom was called home, to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Marjorie Sutton. Loving mother of Marjorie Fleming. Sister of the late Margaret (the late Gordon) Stimers; the late Joan (Jim) Youngson; and Ruth (Robert) Wylie. Niece and nephews: Lynn, Bruce (Charlotte) and Gary (the late Judy) Youngson; Stephen (Nicole) Wylie, and Scott (Simone) Wylie; as well as great nephews and nieces: Robert, Andrew and Peter Youngson; Aidan and Linden Wylie; and Brock, Quinn and Elise Wylie.

In 1949, Mom graduated from the Owen Sound General and Marine Hospital School of Nursing. Over the years, she worked as an R.N. at the former Toronto East General Hospital, Saugeen Memorial Hospital in Southampton, ON, and took early retirement from Toronto Western Hospital to care of her mother.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2024, 2 p.m. at Turner & Porter, York Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto with the funeral service at 3 p.m., followed by a reception. Internment will take place at the Southampton Cemetery in the spring.
