The Funnell family is saddened to announce the passing of Helen on July the 11th, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Norman “Bud” Funnell. Loving mother to Deborah, Daniel, Nancy (Charlie), and Peter (Jan). Precious Grandmother of Amanda, Kyle, Jeremy, Faith, Maggie, James and cherished Great Grandmother to Max and Mia. Helen is survived by her sisters Shirley, Pearl, Marley and her brothers Allen, Gordon, Randy, and pre-deceased by Robert. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Joan and her brother-in-law Bill (Rolande) along with many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. She will be remembered for her feistiness, strong will and her compassion for family, friends and everyone she touched. Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, on Tuesday July 19th, 2022 from 5-9pm. Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday July 20th 2022, at 3pm. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation or the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
