In Celebration of

Heather Marie Bodkin-Lamarre

August 8, 1950 -  May 13, 2019

Heather loved to plan and be creative her entire life. She had the talent to make the most with so little. Over the years her friends and family shared in so many dinners and parties where she always went the extra mile to create something unique, fun, and beautiful. Whether by boat, plane, or car Heather loved to travel with family and friends. Heather’s love for the water and country life was when she was most at peace. She loved everywhere she lived, always creating a warm home for her family and visiting friends. Heather approached life without fear. She never shied away from hard work or adventures. There was always a story, wherever she went, that was uniquely her own. With the people she loved there was always laughter to the point of tears.
LETTERS TO HEAVEN
Heather has requested that if anyone would like to write to a loved one that has passed, she would be happy to deliver letters to them on her journey to heaven. Envelopes will be collected during the visitation and during the service, and placed with her for final resting.

I've known Heather since we were little girls in St Dominic's grade school
Over the years we've kept in touch......in the most recent years we've enjoyed vacations, roadtrips, and when she was in town here in Mississauga we had weekly Mexican Train Dominoes games with the "girls"...…...she will be truly missed :)

Hugs to you Heather
Rest in Peace …..Love Elaine xxxxx

Growing up together I had the privilege of much laughter, shared dreams, confidences and adventures. Heather is just off on another adventure, waiting to welcome us friends when the time comes for our own adventure. Meanwhile she will be missed by so many! Condolences and blessings to her family. I have fond memories of Heather’s warm smile during the few occasions I saw her. Rest in peace. May our Heavenly Father comfort all those who mourn her loss.

We were friends for a very long time, losing touch occasionally but never for very long. We had the pleasure of a very fun road trip in 2017 whereas, of course, Heather drove and I was the navigator along with two other friends. We called ourselves "Widows on the Road" Her instructions before we left were "No talking about our kids, our health or our spouses" I believe but none of us had a spouse anymore so that was the easy part. We had the best time and saw things I never thought could be as beautiful as they were. Boy Arizona and Utah are two wonderful states to travel through. Other than that the dinner parties were also fun to attend and good company all around. Miss ya girlfriend and always will.
