In Celebration of

Harper "Harpie" Sills

September 3, 1929 -  January 12, 2021

Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at the Belmont House Retirement Residence, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Predeceased by his long-time partner Fred.

Son of Herbert Nelson Sills and Ruth Matthews. Loving brother of the late Wilmen and Lorne. Much loved uncle of Brad, Carl, Linda, Nancy, Chris, and the late Mark and Kurt. He will be fondly remembered by his many great nieces and nephews.

Harper attended Parsons School of Design in New York City, upon graduation he joined Ethan Allen becoming one of their lead designers. Harpers life included many wonderful moments but one of his favorite remained his invitation and attendance to afternoon tea with the Queen. He was a kind and creative soul and his spirit will be missed by all those who knew him.

A celebration of life to be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made in his memory to the Parsons school of design in New York City at https://go.newschool.edu where a bursary will be made in his name. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca
