Passed away at Amica, Newmarket on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the age of 96. Originally from Toronto. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Beverley Jane McKay; daughter Kate Barnes (Jason Barnes); son Christopher McKay; two grandchildren Calvin and Connor. He was an educator of French and German, and as principal opened Chinguacousy Secondary School in 1972. He was an organist and choirmaster at Church of the Holy Spirit in Mississauga. He was also a proud member of the Oakville Choral Society.
Funeral Service to be held at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. Private interment Park Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Yonge Street Mission.
