Gwyn Papke

March 30, 1930 -  March 12, 2018

Gwyn Papke, a resident of Port Credit Residences in Mississauga, died peacefully in her sleep on March 12, 2018.

Born in Chatham, Ontario on March 30, 1930. Gwyn was a gifted singer and dancer whose daily goal was to make at least one person smile. With her late husband, Fred, she was an early contributor to the development of three Toronto based companies- Select Brushes, Pool People, and California Spa and Fitness Stores.
Gwyn was the daughter of Major Fred L. Mundy and Major Stella Mundy. She is predeceased by her sister Myrtle Miller (Don) and survived by her brother Gord Mundy (Ethel) and sister Evelyn Waines (Bert).
Gwyn leaves behind her two sons, Dr. Dusty Papke (Sandra), and Dale Papke (Wendy). She also leaves four granddaughters: Jaime Wouters (Greg), Jilian Hayden (Mike), Jade Papke and Shay Papke, as well as five great grandchildren: Luke, Erik, and Evan Wouters, and Taelin and Bryler Hayden.

There will be a private burial this week for immediate family only.

A celebration of Gwyn's life will be held on April 5 , 2018, 2 p.m. at Port Credit Residences, 30 Hurontario St., Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or to The Salvation Army would be appreciated.
