I have a lot of fond memories of Gunter (and the Neumann family) having spent my childhood in the Paton Road area (in the 60's and 70's). My recollection was that Gunter was a strong man, with solid beliefs, a good father with wonderful heart. He enjoyed hockey and often joined us playing ball hockey on the street. His home was always open to the gang of us and a houseload of teenage boys could be overwhelming and loud, but he never complained. As I reflect, I can say that I truly admired Gunter - such a good man. An inspiration. Rest In Peace "Mr Neumann".
