Guilherme de Jesus Quintal, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2022 at the age of 87.

He will be forever missed by his children: Lucia (John), Judy (Shane) and Noel.
He was a devoted Vovo to his grandchildren: Branden (Cindy), Simone, Serena (Michael), Elise, Selena and Faith. Guilherme loved them with all of his heart and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Guilherme enjoyed watching his great grand-children, Michaela and Lorenzo run around when they came to visit, and always said he wished he could still do the same.

Guilherme was born in the village of Camacha, in Madeira, Portugal on April 6, 1935. He immigrated to Canada in 1964 with his beloved wife, Maria Veronica and their first born daughter, Lucia in the search for a better life.
Dedicated to supporting his family, he worked at Quality Meats Pacers Ltd. until his retirement in 2000. Upon retirement, he spent much of his time taking care of his grandchildren and making memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

We are comforted in knowing that Guilherme is now reunited with the love of his life, Maria Veronica. Along with his parents, Manuel and Ludevina, and his siblings, Maria, Augusta, Manuel, Conceição and Antonio.
