It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Gornall Harold Jones announce his passing at Credit Valley Hospital. Gornall passed peacefully with family by his side on Thursday March 2, 2023. Employed by CN Railway for 42 years. Beloved husband and best friend to Beverly (Gallagher) for nearly 63 years. Devoted son of the late Ernest and Evelyn (Burbine) Jones. Son-in-law of the late George and Marie (Currie) Gallagher. Loved father and father-in-law of Debbie and Stephen Biffis and Rick Jones. Adored grandpa of Stephanie Biffis and Natalie Biffis (David Jackson). Brother/Brother-in-law to Helen Melanson (late Sidney), Cathy Jones (late Ken), (late Bradley and Janet Jones), Lillian Gallagher(late Donald), Patricia Gould (late Warren), Gloria Cameron (late Donald), Linda Gallagher (late George), (late Barb and Bud Morin) and Gornall and Muriel Gallagher. Uncle to Sandra Anderson, Kyle Jones, Kelly Camilleri, (the late Paul Melanson) and their families. Will be sadly missed by the extended Biffis family. Mr. Jones will be resting at Turner and Porter (Neweduk Chapel) 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Tuesday March 7, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral on Wednesday March 8th, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. 5440 Durie Road, (Streetsville) Mississauga at 10:30 a.m. Interment Assumption Catholic Cemetery 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga.
