Passed away peacefully at Wesburn Manor, Etobicoke on February 21, 2021 at the age of 100. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, her son Michael and his wife Lynn. Loving mother of Patricia and her late husband Peter O’Meara. Proud Grandma of Katie and her husband Gavin McDonald, Michael O'Meara and his wife Barbara, Mary Pat O'Meara and her husband Dave Mottola, and Andrea and Jeffrey Aymer. Celebrated Great Grandma of Sean, Meara, Neal, Maeve, and Wilder-Jack. Born on January 25, 1921 and raised on the Allen farm in Lakehurst, Ontario, Glenne was the dear sister of Verna Tanney, June Adams, Jim Allen and Bill Allen. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews. Glenne will be fondly remembered as a teacher and an active member of her community including Applewood United Church. Ever devoted to family, she cherished summers at the cottage in Barry’s Bay surrounded by her grandchildren and winters with Jack in Panama City Beach, Florida.
