Glenda Ruth Long

April 18, 1955 - March 27, 2023

Surrounded by loved ones, Glenda (67) passed away on March 27, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born to Art and Ruth Loverock and is survived by her husband of 43 years, John, her son Kevin (Lisa), her daughter Sarah (Corey Whiteman), and beloved grandchildren Madison, Parker, Emmett and Jackson.

Smile in her memory, remember her presence, appreciate the love she always had for everyone, and know she will always shine upon us.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 3 p.m.

Although we have not seen each other for some time, I often have you in my thoughts. So very sorry to hear of Glenda's passing. My deepest condolences to John Kevin, Sara and family. May she rest in peace.

Sorry to hear about Glenda's passing She was a wonderful women,
she always had a coffee ready for us when we walked in the door on the way to work. We became friends with her, we both shared stories with each other about our families. If one of us was having a bad day we do our best to cheer the other up.
Over time we meet John and enjoyed many conversations with him. We are sorry previous appointments make it not possible to be there.
Our thoughts are with you John and your family, she will be missed.
