It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Giovanni Pellegrino on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the remarkable age of 94. Giovanni departed this world with grace, leaving behind his loving wife Giuseppina and son Massimo (Predeceased). He was a devoted husband and father.

Giovanni was born on November 23, in 1930, Rende, Cosenza Italy. It was in Rende that he met the love of his life Giuseppina, and they were soon married in 1956. They immigrated to Canada and lived happily for 69 years, with their beloved son Massimo. He worked as a painter and then worked at Sick Kids Hospital as a Custodian where he later retired. He loved his garden and took extra pride in it. He was very thoughtful and generous to his family and loved ones.

He was a loving brother to Costantino, Michele (Predeceased), Giuseppe, Alfredo, Adamo (Predeceased), and sister Constantina, and brother-in-law to Iris, Stella, Cecila, Angie, Pat, Eva, Luigi, Rita, Giovanni (Predeceased), Anna, Carlo (Predeceased). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
