Gil Ruiz

It is with great sadness that the family of Gil Ruiz announces his passing on Friday, February 5, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Maria, his four daughters, Ginette (Ron), Dania (Craig), Gillie (Troy), and Marrijill (Jeff), and his grandchildren.

A loving husband, a proud father, and a doting grandfather, Gil lived life pedal to the metal.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that donations be made in memory of Gil, under the fund allocation "Head & Neck Site Group Fund" (his oncology team) at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Gil was a remarkable man who was loved by many. He will be sadly missed, however will be well remembered and spoken about constantly. We will make sure we tell his grandson about his generosity, his loving nature and the way way he lived his life. His amazing daughters and wife are a testament to his legacy.
