Gerard De Souza

October 9, 1957 -  January 22, 2019

Gerard (Gerry) died suddenly at his home at the age of 61. He leaves behind his 9 siblings, Theresa Hill, Angela Omrow, Helene De Souza, Margaret Pierre, Maria De Souza, Francis De Souza, Henry De Souza (Anastasia), Catherine De Souza-Allicock (Mackie) and Teresita Bradshaw (Lysle). He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Annette, George, Rohan, Indira, Judy, Michael Donnie, Joey, Nicole, Sammy, Ray, Peter Jr., Karen, Janine, Daniel and Nashelle, and 20 great nieces/nephews.

Born in New Amsterdam, Guyana, he spent many years with the youth group at the Church of Ascension Catholic church and immigrated to Canada in 1990.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter, Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel at 1981 Dundas St., W, Mississauga on Sunday, January 27th from 2-4 pm. A service will be held at the same location on Monday, January 28th at 11:30 pm. Reception will follow the service.
