Gerald Anthony Attard

October 2, 1929 -  September 28, 2023



Peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, Oakville, at the age of 93. Gerald Attard was born in Malta and was the second youngest of 12 children. Beloved husband of Leonie for 60 years. Devoted father of David (Edith Kavai), Thérèse, and Paul (Anna). Adored grandfather to Kaitlin, Megan, Allison and Joelle.

Gerald worked for the Ontario Government for 34 years and retired in 1994. When he was not working, he volunteered time with the Knights of Columbus and spent his time gardening in his backyard. He will be forever in our hearts.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 625 Atwater Ave., Mississauga, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11 am.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.

For those who wish, donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Prostate Cancer, Canadian Cancer Society or the Knights of Columbus.
