It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Georgina, at the age of 82, on March 27, 2025, in Mississauga, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband, Rod Stewart; sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Frank Herrington; and her parents, Mary and George. Survived and remembered by cousins and friends.
Georgina was born on a farm in Prawda, Manitoba and spent many years working for the City of Toronto, retiring in 1995 as Director of Labour Relations. She had a passion for many things: cats, bunco, the Leafs, the Jays, many family gatherings, and especially boating on Lake Ontario with Rod.
Georgina was a confident, independent, women who lived her life on her terms. Georgina was a strong presence in our lives, and she will be sorely missed.
