A great loss of a truly wonderful person. George was a great friend to Klaus and me for many years. He was so kind to Klaus and visited him at the end when it really counted. Lots of fun memories over the years. May he rest in peace with the love of his life "Elsie". To his family my sincere condolences, remember the good times and a "Life well lived".
George was the driving force behind The Park Club Boys!
For at least 15 years, George, Reg, Gary and I would head down to the Park Club in Buffalo to do battle. In the early years George with his phenomenal short game and the gift of the needle would usually lead Reg and him to victory. In later years Gary and I ruled the fairways!
Then playing at Mississaugua, Lambton and Lowville on an annual basis we had a great friendship that will never be forgotten.
Good bye my old friend! I am sure you are with Elsie now.
Penny and John
One of the finest men ever to be in a foursome! I met George through mutual friends and came to know the great gentleman that he was. My sincere condolences to his family.
Dear Russell and Schramm Family
My deepest condolences on the passing of George. I remember him fondly taking us on PD days with Elsie and getting to eat grilled cheese sandwiches with the fake cheese (a no no for the Russell and Karki household, big treat for us kids). Now that I live in Burlington I pleasure myself in telling the story of how Hidden Lake golf course got its name. I am sure he will be remembered for all the amazing things he accomplished and all the people he touched along the way. God bless and may he be reunited with his love. Xoxoxo
Dear Gary, We are so sorry to hear about the lost of your father. Please accept our sincere sympathy.
