George Pecar

October 13, 1933 -  August 23, 2021

Passed away at home on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Marie for 59 years. Loving father of Stewart (Lucy) and David (Beth). Proud grandfather of Andre, Russell, and Sarah. He will be missed by his brother John (Joyce), and brother-in-law George (Marianne) and many nieces and nephews. Enjoyed every minute of his 38 years employed at The Mississaugua G&CC. Family wishes to thank the palliative care team for their care and compassion.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Turner & Porter “Neweduk” Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga. Due to the restrictions still in place surrounding COVID-19, attendance is limited to registered guests only. I had the pleasure of working with George at Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. He was a true gentleman and I always enjoyed our visits in the staff room. His smile and kind demeanour will be greatly missed.
