Passed away at the Trillium Health Partners Mississauga on Thursday September 6, 2019 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Pat. Loving father of Michael Shanahan (Sheila) and Patricia Shanahan. Dear grandfather of Matthew DeVenz (Meagan), Amanda Chitiz (Marc) and Brendan DeVenz (Divya). Proud great grandfather of Sloan and Max. Survived by his brother Godfrey (Maureen) of Toronto, sister Louise Stewart (Eamon) of Scotland and predeceased by his brother Terry (Elisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. George will be fondly remembered by John Loughlin and Dina Kalns.

Worked withGeorge @ 51 for 20+ years he was a good friend and work partner.
