I didn’t have many opportunities to spend time with George as a child. But I got to know him as an adult. He was one of the good ones. He will be missed.

Stephanie
Thank you for letting me know of George's death. He and Doug (Fuller) were good friends, and George had kept in touch with me since Doug's death. I imagine they are now happily golfing and drinking beer, and will be through eternity. Perhaps, in Parklawn, George is buried within 'putting distance' of Doug.
I am so sorry. Please accept my condolences.

My deepest condolences to Stephanie on the loss of her Father. I worked for George for over 10 years at Santa Maria and truly he was a great person and an easy going person. In the past eleven years George and I kept in touch. He would always share how proud he was of his Daughter.
We will miss you George! RIP.
