<div itemprop="description">&nbsp;On February 17, 2013 at age 96, Garth Sweeten Wade has gone to be with the Lord. <br /> <br /> &nbsp; Garth was born August 2nd, 1916, in Duncan BC and raised in Kamloops BC. He graduated from the University of British Colunbia as a Mechanical Engineer in May 1941. He was a Professional Engineer and a member of the American Management Association and Society of Mechanical Engineers. <br /> Garth's first job was with GE Canada and he was posted to England in 1943 as a 2nd Lieutenant Engineer in the Canadian Army. On his return to Canada, he worked for Nashua Paper Corporation in Peterborough,Ontario then Sydney, Australia and&nbsp;finally Chicago Illinios and Nashua,New Hampshire in the US. <br /> <br /> &nbsp; Garth is survived by his son Mark Stephen Wade, youngest daughter Joan Fotopoulos and son-in-law Berkeley Emmons. He was predeceased by his first wife, Victoria May Wade in 1984, his eldest daughter Donna Vivian Emmons and his second wife, Margaret McLean-Wade in 2011</div>
