In Celebration of

Frederick Charles (Jr.) Patterson

November 3, 1930 -  September 5, 2022

Passed peacefully at 91 years old. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his Great Nephew, Brennan Rossini, his wife Kathleen, and their sons Nicholas and Christopher. Fred will also be missed by his goddaughter, Kristina Patterson, and a large number of nieces and nephews, including Tim & Elizabeth Nawrot (Michael, Matthew, Braedon, Theodore and Christina), Cathy & Mathew Paterson (and family), Douglas Nadeau and Cindy Rossini. His presence will be sorely missed by countless friends and neighbours in his long time home of Bloor West Village.

Fred was predeceased by his siblings John (Jack), Alice, Bette and Allan as well as his brothers-in-law James (Margaret) and Robert Sharp.

Fred was a retired Mechanical Designer (Granek & Associates) and the co-creator of Patterson Pottery (with Mary). He was an ardent member of Lawn Bowls Ontario for more than 50 years and was both a member and coach at the Etobicoke, Boulevard and West Toronto clubs. Additionally, he was an active member of the Swansea Horticultural Society and a founding member of both the Basset Hound Club of Canada and Basset Hound Rescue of Ontario.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter’s Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St W., Etobicoke on Sunday 11 September from 3 - 5pm. Service will take place at the same location at 11am on Monday 12 September. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
