In Celebration of

Fraser Graydon Elliott

July 18, 1957 -  March 14, 2024

It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Fraser Elliott on March 14, 2024, after being surrounded by family and close friends for a joyful extended holiday in one of his happiest places, Barbados.

Fraser was a larger than life personality, vital to so many people he met. He was dependable, loyal, and generous dropping anything to be there for a friend or stranger in need. He made a point to connect and stay connected to everyone he ever encountered. A man of substance and strong values, he was devoted to his many friends and family.

Born to Shirley and Graydon Elliott he lived a full life in Etobicoke. There he attended Richview Collegiate Institute and then travelled to Alberta to work on the oil rigs, as well as car and waterbed sales. Calgary is where he met the love of his life, Teresa, they married April 21, 1984. Shortly thereafter they moved to Toronto to make a life together where they raised two daughters Lesley and Jamie. Fraser had creative and structural talents building cottages in Muskoka and working in the retail display and construction businesses – some of his accomplishments include Bass Pro Shops, The Hollywood Bowl acoustics, The Pump Restaurants and his eldest daughter’s home. Truly a jack of all trades, he could fix anything big or small and if he couldn’t, he knew exactly who to call. Traveling with family was a big part of Fraser’s life, from frequent visits to see family in Muskoka, knocking on winery doors in Italy, a heritage trip to Scotland, boat rides off Bowen Island, or sunsets in Barbados, all with an ear to ear grin.

Fraser’s pastimes included a deep love of music, notably the band Pink Floyd, he also cherished his collections and memorabilia which he attached fond memories to. His later years were spent enjoying his hot tub, tending to his hot pepper plants and driving around in his Yukon Denali.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Teresa, adoring daughters Jamie and Lesley, son-in-law Jonathan, and grandchildren James and Lennox.

Memorial visitation will be held at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (HWY 10, N. of QEW), on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 3 – 6:15 p.m. with tributes at 6:15 pm.

A celebration of life at Islington Golf Club on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4-8 p.m.

“Look around, choose your own ground
For long you live and high you fly
And smiles you’ll give and tears you’ll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.”

- Breathe, Pink Floyd

A beautiful soul! Fraser left us far too early. I will always remember his smile, laughter and the adoring love he had for his beautiful bride, Teresa.
His wife, gorgeous daughters, amazing son in law and two delicious grandchildren were his life.
And what a friend! Wow!
Heartbroken 💔
