Passed away at Scarborough General Hospital on February 14, 2024 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Dragica (née Mahovlic) for over 60 years, loving father of Damir “David” (Maria Carinelli), Nina Kotajarvi (Mike), and Annie Holmes (Brian). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Katie, Brandon, Faith, Daniel, and Anastasia “Niko”.
Frank was born on August 29, 1929, in Prilisce, Croatia. He initially worked as an auto mechanic in Croatia and after immigrating to Canada, held various jobs including a stint in construction. The majority of his working life was spent at a sheet metal company as a draftsperson and working in the stockroom.

Frank loved his wife and family above all else. He enjoyed being creative in the garden, tinkering around the house, and was at his best being high-spirited with his grandchildren and sharing wonderful meals with family and friends. He is well known for being exceptionally skilled at working with his hands and solving the Rubik’s cube daily. He was truly playful and young at heart and will be dearly missed.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Friday, February 23rd from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Queen of Croatia Church, on Saturday, February 24th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
