Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Eugene. He was a fine man and a fine runner. We were happy to have known him.
Sincere condolences to the entire Scanlan family from Paul and Irene Hamilton in Kingston, along with those of Eugene’s first cousin, Sheila (Hamilton) Alarie, also of Kingston. May he Rest In Peace.
My condolences on your loss. Sad to say goodbye to Eugene. He was a caring man who always loved to spend time with his extended family.
I am the director of VICS - the organization with which Eugene taught in Sierra Leone. We were so blessed to have Eugene volunteer with us and be part of our family. He was a kind, generous and gentle man. His love of running helped us in many of our 5km Run fundraisers. He attended many reunions in Toronto and often the Good Friday Fast. He will be missed.
My condolences to Eugenes' family and friends. He always had a smile and easy to talk to. It was inspirational to see him finishing in running events. He was a lovely soul. I will miss him. May you RIP, Eugene.
