Frances Margaret Adlaf passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2024, at the age of 74 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Frances was married to her first love Rudy on May 24, 1969.
They had danced together for many years in the Zemplin Slovak dance group and made lifelong friends and memories.
Fran and Rudy were married for 53 years and celebrated a beautiful life together with their children and grandchildren.
Fran's peaceful place was always at the cottage where she and Rudy would spend every summer weekend with family. She loved doing crafts, painting, making s'mores by the fire and playing games with her grandchildren, who were her everything.
She was creative, loved flowers, had a passion for interior decorating and making beautiful cakes. She was also an avid book reader, enjoyed puzzles and liked to sew.
Fran loved modern art and found pleasure in collecting incredible pieces to display in her home and was a huge supporter of local artists.
She loved to travel for weekend getaways to New York City which was her favourite place to visit.
Mom, what an incredible woman you were.
You were unique. You were fabulous. And you had a heart of gold.
