April 21, 1958 -  October 5, 2018

Franc Anthony Louis Vodopivec passed away suddenly in his home on Friday, October 5th, 2018, at the age of 60 years.

Born in Val-d’Or, Québec, on April 21st, 1958, Franc was an avid musician, a gifted conversationalist, and a lifelong learner. He enjoyed sports immensely, and took much pride in the many soccer and hockey teams that he coached over the years. As a dedicated entrepreneur and a lover of technology, he followed his passion by creating computer programs, websites, and apps for many different audiences.

Franc will be fondly remembered by his children, Franc, Lauren, and Lindsay; his siblings, Tony (Martha Gagnon), Susie (Michel Forest), and Vicky (Dave Pigeau); his nieces and nephews; and his many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Franc and Katharine (née Pecek).

A visitation will be held for all those who knew Franc on Friday, October 12th, 2018, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel. A funeral service for all family and friends of Franc will follow on Saturday, October 13th, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel. A celebration of life will be held at Roc'n Docs (one of his favourite bars) after the funeral service is concluded, and the location is 105 Lakeshore Rd E. Paid parking is available just west of the location (at Lakeshore and Elizabeth).

Those who wish to do so may submit donations in memory of Franc to Jumpstart.
