In Celebration of

Florence Chiappetta

March 1, 1932 -  November 16, 2022

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Florence, after a multiple year struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She did so in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving husband Joe of 68 years, daughters Cathy (John Biasucci), Marie (Scott Newton) Lorraine (Mike Groll) and Frances. As well as her children, she is survived by her grandchildren Andrew (Amie), Christine (Joey), Joey (Jess), Daniella (Cody), and great grandchildren Penelope, Fox, Kaiya, Parker, Demitrius, Darius and Antwane.

Florence was a beautiful, elegant, intelligent and capable woman. She was a perfect Lady. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many throughout her life and will be greatly missed by all. She dedicated her entire life caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Florence loved to play cards with her friends and family and she taught her grandchildren to play poker at a very early age, because as she stated, with a smile, it would help them with their arithmetic.

She dedicated many years as a volunteer at Villa Colombo, working directly with the seniors who resided in that excellent facility.

Our sincere thanks to Florence’s caregivers Jannel, Judy, Noemi and Elsie who lovingly cared for her night and day over the last 4 years.

If desired, donations may be made in Florence’s name, to the Dorothy Ley Hospice.
