Peacefully, on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Wanda for almost 68 years. Loving father of Lilly Hill (late Alfred), the late Leo (Shauna) and Alfred (Ruth). Cherished Opa of Stephen, David (Jenna), Liam, Ryan (Erin) and Jeffrey (Janice). Proud great-grandfather of Benjamin and Jeremiah. Predeceased by his brothers Oswald and Woldimar. Ewald was born in Skaisciu, Lithuania to Friedrich and Lydia Bertha Butchereit (nee Hering). He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends.
