Eufemia Teresa Machulec

Passed away peacefully at home in Toronto on April 19, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Ludwik Machulec (2011). Loving mother of Janusz (Ilona) and Michael (Klaudia). Loving Grandma (Babcia) to Monika (Krysztof), Catalina (Dave), Matthew, Martyna, Carina, Margaret (Alfredo) and Larissa (Sebin). Loving Great-Grandmother (Prababcia) to Krystian, Dominik, Jacob, Ewelina, Anita, Olivia, Gabriela, Leo, Robin, Sofia, John and Marianna.
In her homeland (Poland), Eufemia worked as an elementary teacher she was a part-time German language teacher.
In 1972, Eufemia with her two sons immigrated to Canada to be with her husband Ludwik. As new immigrants, both parents have adopted to the new life in Toronto with pride to make ends meet. Eufemia’s education credentials gained in Poland, allowed her to work at a daycare center for about 6 years. Eufemia was also a Polish heritage teacher at St. Teresa Catholic School. Later, Eufemia worked as a filing clerk at the Canadian Kennel Club. She also enjoyed working as a hostess at the Blue Donau Schwaben Club in Toronto.
Eufemia’s passion was to meet her Lord in the Bible studies, participating in religion gatherings and writing poems. Indeed, she was a true writer and speaker in English, German and Polish Languages. No meal was without a prayer. Capstone Community Bible Church was like her second home.
Eufemia will be sadly missed by her family, friends, neighbours and church communities.
Final farewell will be held prior to funeral Mass at Capstone Community Bible Church (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GZ5ntC5344fAhtBG9), 763 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke on April 23, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Following final farewell, there will be the Funeral Service 12:00 – 12:45 PM.
Burial will take place following the Funeral Mass at Park Lawn Cemetery 2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke (https://maps.app.goo.gl/HR4jLxBXTxyLqofr8).
After the burial, guests are welcome back at the Capstone Community Bible Church for light branch and refreshments to celebrate Eufemia’s “Celebration of Life” gathering.
