It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, godfather, Eudore Theriault. Eddy passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years old with his son Rene by his side on Saturday September 14, 2024, at the McCall Centre in Toronto. Eddy is survived by his spouse Alexina, whom he shared 67 years of marriage. Loving father of Cecile (Gordon), Rene (Sally), Denis (Michelle), and his 5 grandchildren, Andrew (Meaghan), Joseph, Sherri-Lynn (Chris), Cody (Camille), Kyle, and great granddaughter Melina, God children, Raymond Landry, Chantal Robichaud, Carol Godin and Jacqueline Stafford. Eddy was born in Quebec and further down the years his family moved to New Brunswick. He was a true French Acadian. Eddy and Alexina decided to move to Toronto, Ontario to work and raise their family. He loved going to New Brunswick every year to visit his family. His late parents, Terrance, his mother Agathe. Eudore is survived by three sisters: Anna (Peter Landry), Aline and Theresa (late Zoel Babineau); three brothers: Armand (late Imelda), Theo (Ella) and Wilfred (Claire). Besides his parents, he is predeceased by six brothers; Gerard (Theresa), Leonce (late Louise), Don (late Marjorie), Thomas (Lucille), Archie (Theresa) and Albert (late Diane).

He will also be missed by his in law’s, cousins, nephews, niece’s, friends and his fur babies Ivy and Mya (little one) that he both adored.

Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel Chapel”, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (HWY 10 N. of QEW), from 2 PM until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 3 PM. Reception to follow after service at Turner & Porter.
