I knew Chris for many years through Cooksville United Church and for a period picked her up Sunday mornings for church. She was a lady of great faith and she would be talking away so fast I always had to tell her to 'slow down Chris'. I have good memories of her.

I am very sorry Chris has passed away even though I realized she was not very well.
I used to drive her to church a few years ago when she lived near me and Meryl and Fred Fisher were at their cottage! She would chat away to me in the car and we used to giggle a lot over things that were happening! My husband and I also drove her to Meryl and Fred's anniversary a few years ago and my husband got lost driving along Rathburn and it all of a sudden ended! He cursed a little and I was so upset as Chris was in the back seat and I really didn't want to upset her!! But she laughed about it and said she had heard it all before!!! A lovely lady!! She will be missed!!!

My condolences on the passing Chris Williams. Her faith in Jesus, the Christ, as her Lord and Saviour, must have been evident to all who knew her. Chris faced the challenges of life with a sincere trust in God for consolation and strength. Her jovial spirit and friendly attitude helped to ease the “burden of the day.” May her life be an inspiration to her family, friends and others.

I knew Chris as a wonderful, warm, caring person. She loved life and was a real fighter to conquer adversity. Regardless of the pain she experienced, she still managed to greet people with her radiant smile. She was part of the people who I consider "the light of the world". We will miss her, and are only consoled by the knowledge that God welcomed her in heaven, a much better place, where she will be at peace, free of any sufferings... I could just imagine her, praising the Lord joyfully!

Chris, your smile, your charm, your sharing and giving
Will never be taken for granted nor your living
And so Chris you have become God's shining star
Your light will shine wherever you are
Shine your new star light on us in the world that we live in
Shine on us as we navigate this world that we are given
