We mourn the passing of Ernest John Steponas who died peacefully, with his family at his bedside, on Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at Labdara Lithuanian Nursing Home. Big Ernie, born on January 15th, 1932 was a cherished husband of 65 years to Wilma Selma Steponas, a loving father to his two sons John and Ernie and a wonderful Grandfather to his three grandchildren Ella, Shane and Lauren. He will be missed by his two daughters-in-law Susan and Janice and many of his friends and family in Canada, Lithuania, Germany and the U.S.

Private visitation was held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel followed by a Service at the family plot at St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery.
