Erik Kurt Albrethsen

April 16, 1936 - December 3, 2023

Peacefully, at his home in Mississauga.

Beloved husband of Bodil (nee Kjǽrgaard), for 61 years. Loving father of Jens and Peter (Brenda-Lee). Adored Farfar of Blake (Ashley), Ethan, and Jenna; and Olefar of Logan.

Born to Robert and Olivia Albrethsen, in the Gentofte area of Copenhagen Denmark, Erik came to Canada in 1958. There, he worked for the Ford Motor Company.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Erik's Life held on Saturday, April 20, 2024: location and time to be announced.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Danish Lutheran Church of Canada or to the Trillium Health Partners Foundation. Donations and online condolences may be made using this website.
