It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emily Margaret Jelic (1943-2024) who left us after a lengthy illness at Trillium Mississauga Hospital. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Walter (Vlado).

She leaves behind her children Suzanne (Brad), Walter (Kelley), and Peter (Kathleen). Emily was a proud grandmother of Brian (Shannon) Jessica (Darren) Alannah (Nick) and Kyle. She was very excited about the newest family addition, great granddaughter Ava.

She is remembered by her sisters Helen (Tony) Mary, Linda and predeceased by Anna. Mom is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed baking and keeping an up kept home, however, recently she developed a great passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Mom would proudly call the players "her boys". WE LOVE YOU MOM!!!

Friends may call at Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, ON (HWY 10 N. of QEW) on Friday, August 09, 2024 from 6-9 PM. Funeral mass will be held at Croatian Martyrs Parish, 4605 Mississauga Rd., Mississauga, on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10 AM.

Interment at Assumption Cemetery.
